I have guessed and sought the truth
and held against my fear,
embracing all that I was shown
through every bleary tear.
Now returned onto the rim,
the canyon down below,
I seek to see what still remains ~
How much that I don't know.
Stand me tall. Such ancient strength,
shall tear me down as well.
I am but a receptacle
before the lifting gale

May your evening be a peaceful one as the ancient ones gather with us around this sacred fire. We are but "receptacles" of Creator's energy, conduits of healing light and as hollow bones walk as tools spreading our people's medicine. Though at times we don't comprehend the losses, the devastations, disasters, ending of relationships and all that Life sends our way as lessons, our ancestors/elders and wise ones continue to guide us and lift us so our steps move forth on the Red Road...and so it is AHO!
