HUMANITY HEALING FOUNDATION GUIDELINES FOR OPENING AND MANAGING GROUPS ON OUR NETWORK
Our purpose is to connect people at a heart level, and our groups are a wonderful way to bring people together to do this. As such, we do have some guidelines that we ask all group creators/managers to follow.
I WANT TO ATTRACT MEMBERS TO ANOTHER WEBSITE. CAN I CREATE A GROUP TO DO THAT?
We do not allow groups to be created to send members to another website. Our groups are here to offer information, support and advice to our members. We do not allow members to use our groups as a way to recruit or send members to their own websites. Any group that is doing that will be deleted.

I WANT TO START A GROUP, BUT THERE IS ALREADY A GROUP ABOUT THE TOPIC THAT I AM INTERESTED IN. WHAT CAN I DO?
We are here to bring people together, so if you find that there is already a group covering your intended subject(s), please join the existing group(s) and share your thoughts and ideas with the members there.
HOW CAN I GAIN MORE MEMBERS FOR MY GROUP?
We do not allow group creators/managers to actively recruit members to their groups. It is not acceptable to leave messages on other members’ profile pages with invitations to your group(s), unless the member has specifically asked for that information.
If you want to get the word out about your group you can post a blog telling people what is happening in your group and also start a discussion about it in our discussion area. However, please do not spam our blog or discussion areas. All of our groups are clearly listed under the ‘Our Groups’ tab, and members will find your group in their own time and join if it resonates with them.
MAINTAINING ACTIVITY WITHIN YOUR GROUP
Every group created must maintain an active participation by its creator/manager. Remember, people join groups because they are interested in the topic and want more information/discussions around that topic. We expect each group creator/manager to post fresh discussions in their group at least twice a month. You cannot expect members to actively participate in your group if you are not participating yourself. You will also find that your members will become bored and will lose interest if you do not give them fresh content to interact with.
If for any reason you find that you are no-longer able to manage your group, please contact a member of Humanity Healing Management Team. We may decide to post a message, asking if any other member would like to take over the management of the group, or you may find that one of Humanity Healing Managers will be able to help you out. If neither of those options are available, you may find that we will decide to delete your group. Please consider how much time you are able to give to a group before deciding to open a group. If you are repeatedly starting groups and then abandoning them, any further requests to open groups will be denied.
Groups that become inactive for more than 90 days will be deleted.
HANDLING DISPUTES WITHIN YOUR GROUP
We regard our groups as an extension of our family. Therefore they should reflect the basic principles of Spirituality and Oneness that Humanity Healing Network and Foundation align with. People join our site looking for healing, understanding and support, or simply to come together with others of a like mind. Our groups form not just a knowledge base, but also a place for members to support each other. As a group creator/manager part of your role is to ensure that your group remains a place of love and support.
From time to time you may experience disagreements within your group. We fully understand that situations like that may arise, and if they do it is important that you are able to remain calm. People will not always agree, but it is important that all members can find a way to respectfully agree to disagree.
You will find that you are able to delete comments and discussion threads, it is up to you to decide when and if that is necessary. We do not agree with censorship, all of our members are entitled to voice their opinions in a respectful manner so that they can share with others. However, no member can try and force their views and opinions on to another. As the group creator/manager it is up to you to decide when or if to step in. It is important that you are able to recognise the difference between a healthy exchange of different views and ideas, and an exchange between members that is disrespectful or insulting. Please use your common sense before removing any comments or discussion threads.
If you feel it is necessary to remove comments or discussion threads, you should always message the person who posted and explain why you have done this. We ask that you message the person because situations such as this should always be conducted in private. This shows that you are being respectful towards the member, and it also means that other members do not get dragged in to situations that are nothing to do with them. No group should ever become a forum to disrespect, put down or insult any other member.
If you are having a dispute with one of your members, or you feel that you need help with a situation, please contact a member of Humanity Healing Management Team. We will do all that we can to help, so that a fair resolution can be reached as quickly as possible.
