Illness and Recovery

Dear Everyone
Last week was exciting except for being sick. I had a UTI with a fever and a cold. I visited my doctor who is fantastic. She put me on antibiotics which helped a lot. I slept most of the time or watched TV and DVDs. I know this doesn't sound very exciting but The Hiltons, who take care of me were gone in Mexico while their daughter, Heather stayed with me to take care of me. I had a blessed week--instead of the week from hell lol. I was actually busy which was terrific. My friend Liz who had been homeless for awhile found a place in Newcastle which is within walking distance to Damariscotta. We can play guitar together more often now! Plus Tonto (who is a drummer for a band) responded to my advert for forming a band. He has a band he wants me to try out for. He and I met on Thursday and went to his place in Dresden which is right nearby.

Halloween

I enjoyed helping Vikki decorate the house with halloween decorations. She goes all out! She does that for Christmas too. Anyhow there was a party last Saturday. Lots of people showed up dressed in cool costumes. There were appetizers such as crackers, chips, cheese, ranch dip and salsa dip. Plus there were meatballs and of course beer which I didn't drink.

Pumpkin Festival

The streets filled with tourists from all over who came to view the pumpkins and experience the festivities. There was music but I didn't go to it (Friday). I did however walk downtown and view the pumpkins. I also took some photos which I will share with you here.
There was a Pumpkin Parade on Saturday. I watched the police drive by with their sirens wailing. There were a variety of floats from a hayride with children waving from the back of the wagon, to other things… Continue
Birthday Weekend/Mabon And Full Moon

I enjoyed the weekend with my parents. I went to a John Lennon tribute concert which was fantastic with Devon Square and two other members. It was all done acoustically.
I also bought three DVDs from money from my parents: REM, Steve Vai and Ghost Adventures. On Monday I bought Tori Amos in concert with money from my friend Liz. I love them! I had pizza hut (everything pizza and bread sticks) for lunch and had chocolate cake made by my mom who is an excellent… Continue

I am asking all to put up prayers today. My girlfriend is in the fight of her life right now. She is an addict and intervention is being sought.
I pray to the Creator, to the Angels that surround and keep us safe...I pray to THe mother of all...to Magdaline that all will be well. That the time for the path to healing is here and that they give her the strength needed in this step towards becoming clean. That they all surround and fill her and those around her with light and unconditional love.
