Do you want to experience deep meditation that is bulletproof? Here are some tips.
The first thing that you want to remember is that small actions that contribute to inner peace go a long way. Actions that contribute to peace include stretching, prayer, calming visualizations, reading text that inspires the soul, singing that favorite hymn from church, yoga poses and deep breathing exercises.
Dedicate at least 30 seconds to five minutes out of each hour to this. You may do this during the ten second elevator ride or at a traffic light. Otherwise, you will just need to claim a couple minutes for this.
A momentum builds behind the scenes, below the level of consciousness. The peace will accumulate until it becomes quite obvious to the conscious mind.
After a while, your daily formal meditation practice will become easier.
Make a list of all your favorite calming activities. Slip them into your day. If you have time to slip them in before your formal meditation practice, do that as well.
Here is a video that explains this principle thoroughly.
