As myself and Jake, came back, from, our evening walk, with Jet our dog, we came across a hedgehog, on the door mat , caught by surprise, the hedgehog, was unable, to hide, because all the clutter, by our back door, so buried his face, in the hops, that are growing, around, the door frame, he could’nt move, for fright, forwards, or backwards, so stayed put. Prickling, his prickles, up, for protection.
Jake put some cat food, and milk, out for him, as i softly talked, to the hedgehog to calm him, down, he turned his little face, to look at us. his sweet little, eye, blinking, at me, smiles. aww, so sweet, and lovely. we shut the door slowly to leave him, to eat.
Thinking about the hedgehog, later that evening, i realised, he had an important, message, and lesson for me, the way he bristled up, frightened, and hurt, with fear, to protect, his soft, sweet self. reminded, me, of an incident, earlier, that evening, when I had prickled up, and retreated into myself, hurt, tearful, angry even. Due, to a conversation, I was having, a trigger had set me off, about past hurts, caused, by others thoughts, feeling and words, about me.
Realising, that the scared little, hedgehog, kind, of represented, me, in a way, to help me learn, and see, how, I had behaved. And why I had behaved, in that way, smiles. Thankyou, for that valuable lesson.
"Hedgehog teaches defense mechanisms against negativity along with showing how to enjoy life and to walk the earth with a sense of lightness and a sense of wonder. Hedgehog shows when to act with tenacity and strength to get things accomplished. He can aid in balancing emotions with actions while lending wisdom when to work and play. Are you taking opportunities that could make you happy? Are you letting people bring you down? Hedgehog can show you to be confident and move with strength."
