Letter from an old father to his son
If you ever get old ways, if I messed up when I eat and I'm not able to dress or understanding, you remember the time I spent to teach you.
So when I speak with you I always say the same thing, do not interrupt me, listen to me, when you were little I had to tell you the same story every night before you go to sleep.
When I do not want to wash me does not make me ashamed, remember when I had to run after you inventing excuses for miles that you go to the bathroom.
When you see my ignorance on new technologies, give me the necessary time and not look at me with is ironic smile, I had so much patience to teach you the alphabet.
When at times I can not remember or I lose the thread of the conversation, give me the time needed to recover his memory and if I can not do it does not upset you, the most important thing n is not what I said, but the need to be with you and you have a listen here.
When my tired legs can no longer keep up the pace of your steps, do not consider myself a ball, come to me and gives me the strength of your arms as I did when you made your first steps.
When I say that I would be dead, do not get mad, one day you will understand that pushes me to say. Try to understand that my age one does not live on survival.
One day you will discover that despite my mistakes I have always wanted the best for you, I tried to prepare you the way.
Give me a bit of your time, give me a bit of your patience, give me a shoulder to lay my head in the same way as I did for you.
Help me to move on, help me end my days with love and understanding, in exchange I would have my smile and the immense love I have always had for you. I love you my son.
