The Lothans - A short story by N M Cole - The LightWorks Passages All Rights Reserved
Delivering the unique passage of pass ways were the nomadic tribe of Lothan. A forgotten tribe which dwelled high in the mountains and were not known about at all anymore or so it seemed. For in the passage they travelled deep beneath the earth’s core where they sat in harmony with the earth and all who dwelled upon her. For mostly none knew of the earth’s ability to clone itself. Instead they lived in ignorance of this cosmic fact and were none the wiser when it came to harmonic dimensions and how they could easily shift if they only knew how. But for the Lothans it was easy. The journey and the passage were over in an instant thought, no quicker! For even travelling at the speed of thought was slow for them! And the secret gate which led to the land of gold where all things pyramid shaped, a triangular dimension full of giants, roamed the landscape playing forms of chess inside the great chambers, decorated like futuristic rooms with luxurious fires and comfortable loungers. Who’d have thought you could find that at the centre of the earth?
Commuters bustled about on trains and trams and buses and coaches and airplanes and yet never did they conceive in their wildest dreams the other worlds. What good would it do? Did it have a pub? Did it have a nightclub? Did it have Oprah? NO!
So on they went on their journey whilst the Lothans went on theirs and might I add what an adventure they had! For when the Lothans go on holiday they always choose Sirius and it is a most spectacular place full of beautiful seas and oceans.
The Lothans didn’t want to reveal themselves to the new human race. They were a lost and forgotten species and to be fair, they did pretty well without MacDonald’s and city bankers. They were doing fine by themselves.
Nothing beats stardom like starlight. Nothing beats eggs like a whisk! Nothing is all there is in actual fact.
And that is where the Lothans like to be left. With nothing remembered about them inside our heads.
The Lothans live in the nothing high up in the mountains, far away. They are a distant thought, a distant idea that doesn’t really hold sway to the rest of the race. They simply got the right idea and broke away.
Perhaps one day the others will wake up and follow them.
