"Words are windows to the Heart" (God's Little Instruction Book, 1984 edition).
Words give us a view to what's going on with what we're feeling, experiencing, or storing in our heart.
Sometimes it may be difficult to express what's in the heart - or that we express it in inappropriate ways.
Some simple things that help ease both feelings/emotions and heart related words are:
Give both your self & others personal space & time out (this honors/respects all).
Go for a walk or do some other type of physical exercise/ movement.
Express yourself in front of a mirror, or to a trusted (detached) friend or therapist. (This is not fault finding, but factual statements of things said or done & your feelings/reactions to situation.)
Apologize (to your self as well - especially if you had a mis-perception, or spoke with intent to hurt and/or control. "I apologize... related to words or action(s) & never about personal things such as looks, intelligence & etc. If some one else is apologizing to you, set boundaries for same courtesy.)
Breathe - put your attention on the tip of your nose and breathe slowly for several minutes (this grounds & clears).
Figure out a creative solution that benefits all involved. (Solutions are exponential & non restrictive, rather than linear/sometimes binding like plans or outlines.)
Set goals and intent to appropriately say what's in the heart. Words from the heart can help create, and/or destroy, anything we put our focus and energy on.
Any natural Universal Law, especially the Law of Attraction, is even more powerful when the words matching the true feelings in the heart are expressed.
